Passport to Practice is the brainchild of passionate innovators from a range of backgrounds, collaborating to help law students and graduates. We share the opinion that what students may miss while in law school can be supplemented. We thus offer a uniquely curated program taught by some of the most forward-thinking professionals and academics.
To succeed in the ever-changing legal landscape, professionals must increase their skills, knowledge, and vocabulary in a wide range of competencies that go beyond the “black letter law” and other subjects commonly taught in law school. The well-rounded professional develops skills across the “Delta Model”, including topics like leadership, law practice management, teamwork, data analytics, communication, feedback, technology, and multi-disciplinary collaboration.
Our goal for Passport to Practice is to add value to students and grads, refine our view of which knowledge and skills are most valued in the marketplace, and collect and share learnings about how multi-institution collaborations can be most effective.
